Extended Overview

Foundation

From many epochs until now, we have witnessed a constant evolution and development of our civilization in many fields, with most emphasis on technology and economy. The world is changing at a fast rate in front of our eyes and we must go along with this pace.

However, this moving forward is chaotic: massive daily basis bombarding of offers and advertisements make people longing for never ending unfulfilled desires while many, even in most industrialized countries, struggle for basic needs. Sooner or later, the individual person experiences difficulties to fit and recover from this disposable structure of consumption, where culture and values vanish away in favour of technology. Money has darkened human minds, distorting the meaning of living and being, bringing competition and separation among human kind. Already from elementary school, the role models of society encourage the child to be involved in the great rat race for achieving material requirements in the pursuit of happiness, from owning the best toys, clothing to cars, houses, neighbourhoods, to weapons and countries of slavery. It all boils down to exhibiting possessions to impress others in order to feel good about one self.
